Cohan Baker is the founder and Owner of Complete Wellness Jamaica. A graduate of Munro College, he worked with the National Water Commission for three years, then with Alcan (now Windalco) as a Powerhouse Operator for 10 years.
In 1999, he was introduced to Symmetry, which is a nutritional supplement company that uses the network marketing business model through independent business partners to market its products. He joined the company as an independent distributor, doing it part-time while still managing his full-time job at Alcan. After two and a half years with Symmetry, Cohan was earning more in his part-time business than his full-time job, so he resigned from Alcan in 2002 to do Symmetry full time.
Mr. Baker has had a colorful career at Symmetry and as a distributor earned many top cash bonuses and incentive trips to exotic locations around the world. Cohan also earned a Diploma with distinction from The School of Nutritional Science in California in 2007. He is a member of The International Nutrition Consultants Association and a Registered Nutrition Consultant.
As one of the company’s top distributors in the Caribbean, he was asked in 2010 to be a part of Symmetry’s Executive Team where he was appointed Caribbean Sales Manager, a position he held until 2020. This job took him to several Caribbean countries where he conducted training sessions on sales, nutrition, and personal development. He is also a great motivational speaker to sales teams.
Cohan started his own wellness company in 2014, Complete Wellness Jamaica. His company offers a full line of products and services geared toward the total well-being of the individual.
In March 2020 when the world went into shock with the Covid 19 pandemic, Symmetry, now owned by Xyngular, went down in the Caribbean like many others, and so in July 2020, the company closed its operations in all 7 markets in the Caribbean
Cohan believes, like Einstein, that “In the middle of difficulty lies opportunities,” so banking on all his experience in the world of nutrition, he started his own line of supplements called Tropical Nutritionals, which he is strategically growing through social media and a fresh marketing approach. His company Complete Wellness Jamaica continues to do well.
Mr. Baker is now the PTA President of his alma Mater Munro College, and he is also a member of the Board of Governors at Munro College. He is also a great father and grandfather of 5 children – 3 girls, 2 boys, and 1 grandson. He loves reading, swimming, and dancing..
