
Stacy-Ann Wilson is a Christian social entrepreneur, Chevening Scholar, and author, the wife of a Munro “old boy,” and the mother of one son, who currently attends Munro College. She is an alumnus of The University of Technology, Jamaica, and the University of Sussex, UK. During her study tenure at the University of Technology, she was the class representative and the public relations officer for the business administration department. After completing her undergraduate degree in marketing and international business, she transitioned into the orange economy, gaining working experience with unique brands from the Caribbean, USA, and Europe. Owing to the prestigious Chevening Scholarship at the University of Sussex, she got the rare opportunity to merge the two disciplines she loves by completing a MA in Media Practice for Development and Social Change.
While immersed in the marketing industry for over 16 years, Stacy-Ann contributed to social change simultaneously. She is the founder of ODEM Group of Companies Limited, a family business where she focuses on merging creative media services with community development. She has extensive marketing consulting experience with small and medium-sized enterprises, mainly in business development, planning, and branding. Under ODEM Foundation – the non-profit arm of ODEM, she currently specializes in poverty alleviation. She works with inner-city community groups such as The Waterhouse Community Development Benevolent Society in youth development and life skills training. She has been featured in Entrepreneur Spirit Caribbean and contributed to the magazine’s articles entitled “Social Media – How to Get It Right” and “Understanding your Target Market.” She is an avid supporter of the arts. She has participated as a presenter in workshops geared at using Digital Media & Marketing as growth tools for Artisans through Caribbean Intransit. She was also a guest coach at Startup Weekend in Trinidad and Tobago. She is a member of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce, Jamaica, and the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK..
As a member of the Committee, she hopes to use her skillset to serve the needs of the Munro College PTA to the best of her ability. She believes it takes a village to make a real impact, and she is happy to be a part of Munro’s Village!
